The company did not rise from prestige, but from humble beginnings. Driven by curiosity, it has grown into what we proudly see today.

With less budget and fewer resources, dedication drove the pursuit to learn the potential of Himalayan salt products in 2015. A man from the southern Philippines sought business opportunities and ventured out of his comfort zone. He discovered Himalayan products — and it took courage not to simply try his luck, but to believe that nothing is impossible for a driven heart hungry for learning.

He came across a company based in China that entrusted him with the opportunity after realizing that this strong and determined man from the Philippines was the only one from his country who inquired about Himalayan products.

The man behind Philippines’ Himalayan Pink Salt

That man was Leaderich De Luna Marcelino, and he named his small business LDMI Trading. He started introducing Himalayan Pink Salt to a few stores in the Philippines. With the help of some friends and the new connections he built along the way, Himalayan Pink Salt was gradually introduced into the Philippine market.

Through persistence and determination, the product eventually entered major retail chains, including Robinsons and SM Supermarket.

Fear is an illusion

A strong heart conquers what the mind cannot.

Looking back, establishing a business built on trust from people you barely know is a huge gamble into the unknown. It is where fear begins to grow. Yet, Mr. Marcelino persisted, believing that fear is merely a product of illusion.
